Michael Einspahr

Mike Einspahr is in his first year as Principal at Citrus High School, after serving as an Assistant Principal at the school last year. Bringing 22 years of experience in public education, Mr. Einspahr is dedicated to fostering academic growth, inclusion, and student achievement.

He began his career in 1995 after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Nebraska Wesleyan University. Over two decades, he served as a special education and inclusion teacher and multi-sport head coach across Kansas and Florida high schools, including Central, Hernando, and Crystal River. From 1999 to 2004, he also coached collegiate football, serving as Director of Football Operations at New Mexico State University. He later served as Assistant Principal at Crystal River High School from 2021 to 2025.

In addition to his undergraduate degree, Mr. Einspahr holds Master’s degrees in Curriculum and Instruction from New Mexico State University and Educational Leadership from Fort Hays State University. He looks forward to serving the students, staff, and families of Citrus High School.
