Citrus High School




The Academy of Computer Sciences at Citrus High School started in the 2016-17 school year.

 The goal of the program is to provide students with the best foundation possible in the computer sciences. In the Academy, students will earn Microsoft Office Specialist certifications, learn coding using the Python programming language, take Advanced Placement courses and much, much more. If you are a current 8th grader interested in the Academy of Computer Sciences for the 2019-20 school year, complete the application by clicking on the link below. The program consists of 6 elective classes over 4 years. The breakdown is as follows:

9th grade: Digital Information Technology & Programming Essentials
10th grade: AP Computer Science Principles & Web Technologies
11th grade: AP Computer Science A (Java programming)
12th grade: Cybersecurity Essentials
